1. What inspired you to build ELEC? Were there any personal experiences or events that sparked the idea for ELEC?

I was inspired to build ELEC by the urgent need for sustainable mobility solutions. Personally, I’ve always been passionate about technology and how it can be used to solve major world issues, including environmental ones.

The idea for ELEC was sparked by my personal experiences with the challenges of traditional transportation. I experienced firsthand the environmental impact of combustion vehicles, the inefficiency of non-integrated services, and the lack of accessible and reliable electric vehicle resources. These experiences illuminated the need for a comprehensive, user friendly platform that could facilitate the transition to sustainable, electric mobility. This, ELEC was born out of a desire to offer a solution to these challenges and contribute to a greener, more sustainable future.

 

2. How does ELEC aim to redefine the way people travel? What innovative solutions does ELEC offer to address the challenges faced by traditional transportation? How does ELEC envision changing the perception of electric mobility and making it more accessible to the masses?

ELEC focuses on simplifying and enhancing the electric vehicle travel experience, providing a unified platform for ridesharing, renting, and charging electric cars. We want to change the perception of electric mobility, making it more accessible and appealing to the masses.

ELEC addresses the challenges of traditional transportation by creating a unified platform for electric mobility services. We offer ridesharing, car renting, and charging services, all centered around electric vehicles. This integrated approach ensures a seamless and efficient user experience. Furthermore, our solution provides real-time information for all the vehicles enrolled on our platform, and also information about the nearest available charging stations across Europe, enabling easy planning for electric vehicle users. Our commitment to making electric mobility more accessible and convenient is how we’re innovatively transforming traditional transportation.

ELEC envisions changing the perception of electric mobility by making it more user friendly, affordable, and widely available. We aim to debunk the myth that electric mobility is complex and expensive by providing affordable rideshare, rental, and charging services. Our goal is to ensure that electric mobility is not just an alternative, but becomes the preferred choice for everyone.

 

3. What is the current state of the electric mobility industry? Can you provide an overview of the growth and potential of the electric mobility market? What are some key industry trends and advancements that support the viability of electric transportation?

The electric mobility industry is in a stage of rapid growth, with increasing demand for electric vehicles as people become more aware of the need for sustainable transport solutions. Industry trends indicate that electric transportation will become the standard in the coming years.

According to the International Agency (IEA), there will be 125 million electric vehicles on the road globally by 2030. This shows the immense potential of the electric mobility market. Furthermore, as technology continues to advance and charging infrastructures improve, electric vehicles are becoming a more practical and cost-effective choice for consumers. This market is poised for substantial growth and ELEC aims to be part of this evolution.

Several key industry trends are supporting the viability of electric transportation:

  • Technological advancements. We are seeing continuous advancements in battery technology, resulting in longer range and reduced charging times for electric vehicles.
  • Government incentives. Many governments around the world are offering incentives to encourage the adoption of EVs. These incentives include subsidies, tax breaks, and even free parking for EVs.

We faced technical challenges as building a unified platform for electric mobility is a complex task. Also, we faced challenges in shifting public perceptions about electric mobility.

 

5. What would you say is the main differentiator that sets ELEC apart from existing players in the electric mobility space? How do you handle risk and competition?

ELEC stands out by integrating all aspects of electric mobility into a single platform. We address risk and competition through continuous innovation and by providing a high-quality service.

Risk and competition are integral parts of any business, and at ELEC, we tackle them head-on.

Regarding risk, we have a multi-faceted approach. We invest in research and development to stay ahead of technological trends and continuously innovate. We also have robust contingency plans in place to navigate through unexpected challenges. Furthermore, we place a significant focus on quality and compliance to mitigate operational and regulatory risks.

As for competition, we see it as a healthy aspect that keeps us on our toes. It encourage us to continuously improve our offerings and strive for excellence. Our unique value proposition lies in our holistic approach to electric mobility, combining ridesharing, renting, and charging. This allows us to differentiate ourselves and stay competitive in the market.

ELEC aims to engage communities through education and by demonstrating the benefits of electric mobility. We have strategies in place to encourage widespread adoption of electric vehicles.

  • Building a Comprehensive Charging Infrastructure. ELEC is working to build a comprehensive network of charging stations. By increasing the availability and convenience of charging stations, ELEC aims to eliminate one of the main barriers to electric vehicle adoption.
  • Providing a seamless user experience. Through the ELEC Platform, users can easily request rides, rent electric vehicles, and find charging stations. By making easy and convenient to use electric vehicles, ELEC hopes to encourage more people to choose sustainable transportation options.
  • Educating the Public. ELEC is committed to raising awareness and educating the public about the benefits of electric vehicles and the importance of sustainable transportation. This includes providing clear, accessible information about how electric vehicles work, the environmental benefits they offer, and the cost saving they can provide.
  • Partnering with Governments and Businesses. ELEC is also actively seeking partnerships with governments and businesses to promote the use of electric vehicles. This could include incentives for individuals and businesses to switch to electric vehicles, as well as policies and regulations that favor sustainable transportation.

7. What lessons are you bringing to ELEC from your previous experience? Which would you say is the most important skill you need as an entrepreneur?

From previous experiences, I’ve learned that the success of a business depends on its ability to identify and solve real problems. As an entrepreneur, I believe adaptability is the most important skill.

 

8. What are your goals with this business? Are there any projections or insights into the future growth of ELEC and the electric mobility industry as a whole?

Our goal is to transform how people travel, making electric mobility accessible to all. We anticipate that ELEC and the electric mobility industry will continue to grow.
