Răzvan is an Executive Consultant and Facilitator with over 15 years of experience in strategic projects with a digital component, supporting clients from top industries such as finance, telecommunications, utilities, retail, public administration, and IT&C.
A versatile systems thinker with a recognized synthesis capacity, his expertise is best demonstrated by the variety of projects and activities he has been involved in, helping over 80 clients in the CEE region in areas such as strategy, market positioning, vendor selection, client and product portfolio development, and more.
In the years before starting his own consulting company, he spent time at IDC, one of the global leaders in digital market analysis. In his position as a market analyst, he strengthened relationships with top digital providers and generated customized materials, reports, and projects for the Romanian, Moldovian, and CEE markets. As the Country Manager of IDC’s local office, he solidified the company’s results across all three lines of business – market analysis, consulting, and events.
Răzvan made essential contributions to the creation of one of Romania’s largest Advisory Board structures, aiming to gather and distribute relevant information about the IT&C market dynamics. Throughout his five years at IDC, he engaged in discussions with over 120 executives (CEO, CIO, CTO, CMO, CHRO, CDO, CPO, etc.) from top technology-buying companies, demonstrating a multi-level understanding of digital issues and needs.
As a public speaker, Răzvan has coordinated or participated in over 50 market events, presenting market directions, digital topics (Cloud, Digital Transformation, Security), or recommendations for technology providers and buyers. His broad understanding of internal and external challenges, as well as his presentation skills, culminated in a focus on delivering innovative workshops to management teams.
Prior to IDC, Răzvan worked in Romanian companies, where he served as a presales architect and manager of strategic project departments, overseeing over 250 offers and projects. During that time, he also participated in and led M&A activities.
A graduate of the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science, Information Technology section, he began his career at IBM, where he held various official roles, from PLSQL developer to end-to-end architect for technology solutions (COTS and custom systems) and operational projects (system and application takeover, M&A, consulting projects) worth tens of millions of euros (Vodafone, National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration, Electrica, etc.). During that period, he obtained the Enterprise Architect certification from The Open Group (TOGAF).
